Biography

Claudio López Jiménez Vélez was born in Malaga in January 1948. From childhood began to get interested in art world, particularly drawing.

Claudio López Jiménez Vélez was born in Malaga in January 1948. From childhood began to get interested in art world, particularly drawing.

The beginnings

In 1966 his first show hangs in the Caja de Ahorros Provincial de Malaga Velez Malaga, two years later and in the same room another exhibition of oil paintings.

After twelve years removed from the room, reappearing in August 1982 is the year of the consecration of the artist as a pen, in March houses a collection of feathers dedicated to Easter Velen. In these years the artist participated in numerous exhibitions in different Spanish cities, also illustrated several books among which "100 Veleno notables", "Jazmines Miguiña", "Art History in Vélez."

90 Years

In 1995 Claudio Lopez made a folder in pens in which its vision of the Cloisters of the Churches and Convents of Velez-Malaga. In 1,997 the pen returns to play Easter watch and this time it does in the halls of the Leisure and Cultural Society "off."
